​York is a small, beautiful city near Manchester, England. We had a lovely visit with Jenna's friend from home and experienced old English culture and beautiful views along the castle walls.

York Hits:

• Traditional pubs

• Many old English pubs to experience an authentic view of England 

• Walking the walls was an amazing way to view York 

• Can walk the entire city around the walls 

• Beautiful views of the York Minster 

• First time learning how to navigate Trainline and the train

York Misses:

• A 5 hour train ride with a change-over in Manchester – gave us the opportunity to figure out how to navigate the train (can’t believe we didn’t get lost!)

• Spent too much time in one city 

• It was amazing to visit friends and family in York, but since it is a small city there wasn’t much to do for a full week
