Edinburgh is a great weekend getaway spot! We went mid-February and we had great weather. It's a great tourist town and an awesome place to experience Scotland.

 

Edinburgh Hits:

• Edinburgh Castle & the beautiful tea room inside with yummy scones!

• Traditional pubs with great live music- try out Finnegan's Wake!

• Camera Obscura and World of Illusions (we advise to not go after a heavy night of drinking!)

• Arthur’s Seat- follow the path on the way down (don't make our mistake of climbing down some slippery slopes!)

Edinburgh Misses:

• LOTS of hills

• Everywhere you walk in Edinburgh is an uphill battle (bring running shoes!)
