Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is a beautiful city in Spain full of culture, history and lots of tapas! I only had a few days there, but I squeezed in as much sight-seeing as I could, along with discovering Spain's nightlife.
Barcelona Hits:
-
My hostel was absolutely amazing! I stayed at the "Yeah Hostel" and met so many other solo travellers. The hostel provides dinner and bottomless sangria every night for only €10! The club-crawl was also really fun & the rooftop patio was definitely a highlight for watching the beautiful sunsets.
-
Park Güell is a park overlooking the entire city, the views are spectacular.
-
Barceloneta Beach- the beach of Barcelona! An absolute highlight of my time there. Grab a beer and watch the waves roll in.

Barcelona Misses:
-
Weather- during early April it was still a little chilly. If you're planning on hitting the beach in a bikini, wait until May.
-
Not everything was walking distance, and I found the public transit system to be quite complicated.
